Lots of lights here, ice skating rink, my first Christmas Market on it’s opening day. Pretty cool experience, lots to take in. Several booths with all kinds of things to window shop and actually shop until you drained your savings. Lots of food choices and my first taste of gluhwein (warm, mulled wine).
Ulm : Dec 21
Was hopeful because of recommendations.. not impressed. Petting with a few animals no where near the edge nor interested in getting pets. Pretty small, and nothing unique. Bummer due to the stau (traffic) making for a long drive. Left early to see the lights come on at Esslingen.
Esslingen : Dec 21
Super popular due to medieval themed, which isn’t cool to me at all. But, was a good market with some good finds, nice hot chocolate, with soooo many different gluhwein mugs (we got each got two, all four very different).
